The StuWWW enables students, employees and associations from the University of Tilburg to create or to deploy their own fully dynamic websites, photo albums, blogs, etc.

The StuWWW servers are Linux servers, that is why they wanted to incorporate a penguin, referring to Tux (the Linux penguin), in their logo.

The penguin was created from the letter ‘S’ from Student and Server. The colours yellow and blue are the primary University colours.
